frustrated with OPK sticks

Ok, so I'm 15 days past the first day of my last period and I thought I would be ovulating, but nothing. the sticks have been showing a faint line for the past 2-3 days but the line has not gotten darker. also, I have not noticed any CM. Could it be that I'm not going to ovulate this month (I did have a D&C a month ago) or that I will Ovulate later then the 9-15 days? Should I continue daily testing and for how long?

I was having the same problem as you- I was totally frustrated, and I was getting a faint line, but nothing else. Well, I'm CD 19, and I *FINALLY* got my surge last night! Definitely keep testing with them- not everyone ovulates on day 14.

Oh no, I noticed this comment online...

"It seems as though a fertilized egg resulting from such a late ovulation would be unable to implant, because the uterine lining would be shedding".

could that spell doom for me when TTCing?

I think as long as the time between ovulation and the end of your cycle is at least 10 days, you will be fine.

I'm with ya! I've already used up a box of ten, am on to another box, and NOTHING.

This is getting me worried that I too, will have problems with conceiving. Chat Icon

Good luck to you!!!

I ovulated late. The month I used the OPK sticks, it said I ovulated on day 19, and I got pregnant. Good luck!
