Has anyone been? What are some fun things to do for a weekend stay?
I have work offsite during the week and my DH decided he will fly our to FL to spend the weekend there. We won't have the kiddie!

To me; the entire West coast is so pretty.
From Ft. Meyers you can take a pretty drive to Sanibel or Captiva Island in under an hour.
Beaches are beautiful. And if you are in Ft. Meyers; it is worth it to go IMO.
Naples should only be about a 40 minute drive.
Shopping & Restaurants in Naples are abundant.

All of the beaches over there are amazing (Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Bonita Beach, Naples).
There's a small zoo in Naples. Tons of shopping/restaurants on 5th Ave in Naples.
There are lots of boat tours (dolphins, sunset, fishing etc).
