"full-day" pre-k programs

im wondering what you do for your children that are ready to go into pre-k. my DC is able to go to pre-k in sept. but i do not have anyone to wath them when i am at work, etc. right now they goto a sitter's house and i want them in a full-day pre-k program to ready them for kindergarten.

are private pre-k's expensve? can anyone reccomend one on the south shore of suffolk? do they bus, etc?

Your best bet would probably be a tutor time or kinderkare that are daycare centers that offer pre k services. Catholic schools also off pre k, but not all are full time

Many of the Catholic schools do have a full day Pre-K. I am a teacher in a Catholic school and I teach the full day pre-k. FM me if you have any questions!

My nephew goes to The Life on Jericho Tpke in Westbury. It's from 9am-1pm - he's 3.

My daughter goes to TenderGardens in Levittown, it's form 840-240, and really reasonably priced. They are awesome! The kids have a journal, they learn site words, it's exactly what I was looking for for her!

Not sure where in Suffolk you are looking, but DS goes to Kiddie Kampus in Bayport. He goes from 8-4. I think their hours are 7-5. No bussing and for 4 full days I pay $815 a month
