Full Sun - Tree

What kind of small tree can I plan in front of my house that accepts full sun?

We wanted to get a Japenese Maple but found out it is part sun and part shade and that wont work where we want to plant the tree.

Thanks,
Scott

We have a Japenese Maple in our front yard and it seems to do well. It's in the hot summer heat from Noon until the sun goes down. Why shouldn't they be in full sun? Chat Icon

I dunno - It said right on the information card - part sun/shade. It is a weeping Maple.....Not a tall maple.
