Fun place to take kids on long island?
We were supposed to go away this week with our family but my brother got hit with a horrible stomach virus. So we are making it a staycation! On monday we went to central park. Tuesday we did Adventureland and Dave and Busters. Today we did the Long Island Children's museum. We've also seen Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me. I have 5 kids that we are trying to entertain with ages of 1, 2, 5, 8 and 11. Any thoughts of other places to go? I know we could still do the zoo or the aquarium but I'm trying to come up with something different for them. All suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

How about one of the sprinkler parks? Venetian Shores or Tanner Park in the Town of Babylon, or the Centereach Pool in the Town of Brookhaven.

Cradle of Aviation Museum, the Firemans Museum, Planetarium, Holtsville Ecology Center, Sweetbriar Nature Center?

Those are some great ideas. I looked into the planetarium and they have a Beatles light show today and all of the older kids love them so we're definitely doing that. And the sprinkler park looks awesome so we may do that tomorrow if the weather permits.
Any more ideas? I have 4 more days of vacation to fill up!

They only do it every other Sunday but I highly recommend Long Island live steamers.
