Fun quick project: Planting seeds in terrarium

Just wanted to share since my kids have been so into this project all week. I'd ordered 3 Learn & Grow kits from kids woot last month and decided to do them on Tuesday with the kids. Once we were done we put them in our front window that has southern exposure.

The vegetable one has a sprout popping up already, which DS (he's almost 4) is so excited about. He insisted on calling both DH and my mother at work to tell them. Meanwhile my 5yo DD is crying that her flowers haven't started growing yet.

I found them on Amazon (for a lot more money than woot was) but I'm sure you can find similar cheaper kits. Link to the 3 kits on Amazon

aww, thats too cute...in my class, we always used watee bottles - cut it in half, fill up the soil and plant seeds, spray water in and tape back up....its awesome!
