Fun things to do on Long Island
Hi all,
I am taking a few days off next week and my husband is off for two weeks. We haven't taken any time off all summer and aren't going anywhere since we are saving up for a house.
I am trying to identify fun things to do in the evening or for the whole day on Long Island.
So please suggest away!

Take a fishing trip out of Captree. They have daytime cruises as well as moonlight cruises.
Walk around Old Westbury Gardens.

Greenport
Hamptons/Montauk
Arboretum
Jones Beach during day or for free concerts on the beach side at night
Take the Ferry over to Mystic for a day
Bike trail from Massapeque to Bethpage or do the one from Wantagh to Jones Beach
ETA: Davis Park Ferry from Patchogue to Fire Island or the one from Bay Shore to Ocean Beach

The Harry Chapin Lakeside theater at Eisenhower Park always has something going on.
Jones beach has nighttime shuffleboard and minigolf
Atlantis Aquarium
Tennis
Biking
