Fun ways you announced you were having twins?

Sorry I'm crashing. A friend of mine is expecting her second set of twins-BIG surprise. First set was fertility treatments, these are natural. Any suggestions on how they can share the news in a fun and exciting way? How did you ladies share with friends and family? The first set is about to turn three years old if that helps. Thanks!

WOW! That's amazing!

I have no suggestions - I was a WRECK when I found out (big surprise) and was overwhelmed and crazy hormonal for weeks. I think I had my parents tell people because I was such a mess.

But that is WONDERFUL news!!!!!!!!

WOw, how exciting! I have a friend with 2 sets of natural twins. Is your friend from LI?
I didn't really announce in a special way. I had to tell family I was pregnant because it was obvious and they could all tell - I started showing at like 5 weeks! But I didn't tell anyone it was twins since mymidwife mentioned "vanishing twin" I waited until after the 12 week sonogram. I had my aunt and cousin babysitting my older DS and when I came home I showed them the sono pic of the 2 babies. They were like "Oh, I can't tell what it is... I am so bad at these pictures" finally my cousin said "it looks like 2" and we were like DING DING DING!! The news just spread from there.

I gave my husband a Christmas ornament with two peas in a pod and had written on it "July 2010". Other then that I just verbally told people.

Thats amzing news about your friend!!! I always joke that if I have another set of twins, it'll be fine with me, I already have everything and twins is all I know! I have nothing else to compare it to.

I bought my dog a shirt that says "I'm going to be a big brother" and let him run into the house during a family dinner first, by the time DH and I walked in everyone was in hysterics haha
