Re: Fundraiser
not sure where this post belongs....but are you trying to start your own fundraiser for a cause that already exists like March of Dimes or Cancer Study??
I know our youth group did Krispy Kreme sales at church and raised alot of money.
Our church here always hosts luncheons where the members have to pay to attend, but the money raised goes towards the youth committee or to improve the grounds.
They also have a 2x a year consignment sale where the church gets 30% and the sellers get 70% and the money goes back into the church for whatever it needs.

Re: Fundraiser
I organized a Benefit/Fundraiser last summer at my spa. It was quite successful. We offered spa treatments (guests would pay-ALL $$$ would go to the family we were helping), had some food/drinks for the guests, even had a tent set up outside the spa for a gift basket auction. It was quite easy to organize, just time consuming. FM me if you have any q's.

Re: Fundraiser
When my friend died in a Navy helicopter crash, I organized a memorial fund with another friend. It was quite successfully. We raised 45K in 6 months with a benefit party, 5K race and private donations. We divided the money between the 4 schools he attended throughout his life.
My best advice is to gather a committee and delegate!!!
