So my second semester (or as they now like to refer to themselves, fourth quarter ) seniors were talking today about which teacher could give them a worse stare (or, as they say, grill), myself or another one (who has a pretty terrible reputation). They all said her name immediately except for one kid, who was clearly considering it pretty carefully. He looks at me and says "no... she could shred your soul."
I could shred his soul??? I didn't know what to do. So I just burst out laughing. They really are too much sometimes.
Seriously... I was like... I can SHRED your SOUL? Really?
The best part was the kid sitting there, just watching me with this look in his eyes that said... you know he's right. And all because I MIGHT have given him a guilt trip last week. Whatever. He deserved it. (He even admitted that himself.)
