Funny thoughts from non-infertiles
So...... I was talking to one of my friends about how surrogacy works. She asked if we have been able to transfer yet.... I said no.... and she says:
"So wait, is he/she in you right now?"
I love how the idea she had was that the baby was in me and we were transferring it from me to her. It's just so interesting to hear how people think this stuff ACTUALLY works.
Then I was also talking to a friend who told me her daughter thought that the baby got to her belly through the injections she was using. Like her daughter thought she was shooting the baby in and it would just know where to go  
I find it all amusing and cute  It's funny how people who know nothing about this try to rationalize how it all happens.
Anyone else have amusing stories?

I forget who, but someone was asking about surrogacy. She volunteered the suggestion that they get me pregnant (since I've been pregnant so many times) and then move the baby to the surrogate.
I tried to explain that what she was talking about was an abortion

Do people not take biology class anymore? I have heard some crazy things, but moving a baby has to be the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard.

I was explaining in detail once to my SIL (who has three DD's) how IVF works and then how the whole thing works. And she looked at me like I had two heads. She didn't even understand the natural part of it...and she has 3 of em. Unbelievable.
Wish we all were naive too!!!

i know it can be hard to comprehend..but i mean really, how hard can it be to just know the basics? you fertilize two eggs outside the womb and then transfer them in... its not rocket science

Right .. I should have been like .. YES I'M PREGNANT NOW!! And they're transferring my babies from me to her tomorrow!

I didn't have many comments but I always got the I'm bored look when telling someone who ASKED ME about it. With one person when I was done telling them all about it they changed the subject.
