Furniture is Coming
Now maybe DH will paint the baby's room!!
This is the armoire that MIL and both SILs suprised me with at my shower on Sunday.
This is the crib my mom bought which I knew about.
And this is the dresser that my mom also bought. We got the changing station for the top, not the hutch.
I can't wait till it gets here and I can set up the baby's room!!!!!!

Wow, Very nice!!!
And yes, getting our furniture definitely lit a fire under DHs a$$ to get the painting done.

I love your set! Beautiful furniture. What a wonderful surprise!
What is it with DHs taking their time painting the babies' room? Mine dragged his feet too, and it took some major nagging on my part to get it done. I think going on the hospital tour made everything a little more real for him also.
Hopefully this will get him going!

It caught me so completely off guard b/c MIL is 79 living on fixed income and with us moving out she isn't getting rent from us. The armoire was not cheap!

In all fairness to my DH, he spent almost every single night after work from September 17 to October 6 painting our new home so we could move in. He wanted to wait until it was finished and I insisted we move without baby's room being done. Problem is we've been in for two weeks and all he has done is paint the trim in the master bathroom and hang wallpaper border in another bathroom.

Like I only have 6 weeks to go!!  Ankle swelling is at a minimum, and the baby is starting to drop so very few rib kicks.
