furniture repair - HELP!
My father refuses to part with his rocking chair. He bought it when I was born (32 years ago) and it is falling apart. Seriously...you take your life in your hands when you sit in it. Anyway, my brother and I wanted to have it repaired for his 60th birthday and I have been looking for places that will do this kind if thing. I was hoping that maybe someone had done this before and could point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

There is a place on Sunrise hwy in Bellmore/merrick called furniture doctor. I had the seats of my grandmas dining room chairs redone there.
