Furniture stores for bedroom furniture

Hi everyone. We just bought a house in S. Bellmore and are moving from a studio apt. We NEED a bedrrom set! Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!!!!

We got our bedroom set from Gothic Cabinet Craft after looking for months at Seamens, Levitz, etc. It is solid wood furniture and you choose the finish. The furniture is great! We love it, but their customer service has been horrible for us. Our nightstands were "backordered" and no one told us until the day they were suppossed to be delivered. 2 months later they are finally here. They took some money off an additional piece we ordered (a storage chest) so they tried to make up for it, but they were horrible about returning phone calls, and delivery times were always later then they said. I hear similar stories about all furniture companies though.

we had a great experience with JCPenney. I saw a bed in a sale circular in Queen size, I called and asked if it came in King and if it was on sale, which it was. We ordered it, it came when they said it would and the delivery was easy!

We got ours at Once and Again Home Furnishings...they have a new store on 110 but we got ours on 112 in Coram. It's a gorgeous solid hardwood 4 poster bed, armoire, dresser and nightstands. The dresser weighs 500lbs! They have good quality import furniture. They tend to have very LARGE furniture.
