FWI Short Sales

I just got an answer back on a Short Sale and it took 5 MONTHS just make sure you have lots of time bc they take forever for you to hear an answer. They came back with a crazy high $$ amount and we countered which took forever again.. we pulled out bc they offer was redicuous what they wanted..

just so you know..

we had contracts signed, inspection done, and a whole lot of $$ tied up that we put down for a downpayment. Im aggrevated we wasted our time on this house to boot our $$ didnt gain interst in 5 MONTHS

I am never going to do this route again!

Just a heads up.. if you do get involved in short sale see if you can put down a small amt of $$( like 1000 or 2000) if you sign the contracts ect... we put down a HUGE amt and we stressed we wouldnt get it back.. now we are waiting for our check.

they should be called LONG sales!

They offerd the house at 369 we did a binder for 350 thinking worth a shot..its a short sale..

the bank came back at 415 the amount owed on the house.

now its back on the market for 389..go figure

I feel your pain, they SHOULD be called long sales. So annoying, especially when you get your hopes set on having that house. It's like they stole 5 months of planning and thinking about the house from you. I know how you feel.
