FYI - Selling baby clothing (INSTEAD of Once Upon A Child...)

I see all the posts about how everyone is dissappointed with the $ they get from Once Upon A Child....

Last weekend, my friends and I did a yard sale and I brought TONS of NEW clothing with tags on it. I sold them for:

$1 - one piece
$2 - two piece
$4 - dresses and complete outfits

For standing outside for a few hours (along with selling other items) I made well over $100! Yes, people haggled me and I sold for less, so not every item sold at that price, but I still made good $ on clothing I would not use again or had too much of.

I advertised on CraigsList on the Garage Sale board as well as on the Baby board.

Give it a try, it may be worth your while to get together with friends and make a big yard sale of kids clothing!!

We've made alot of money over the years with my older DD's clothes and toys at yard sales.

If I "SOLD" the pieces for 1 dollar and made 100 I would have been ecstatic....instead I packed all the cr@p up brought it there and stood there for an hr ONLY to take it ALL home. Thats the part that is killing me. At least take it...
But I did make 7 bucks for all that time

I know, thats why I feel bad...you made such an effort that wasnt worth it :(
