FYI for Ipsy subscribers in NY
Thank you for being a Glam Bag subscriber! Beginning April 1st of this year, we will start collecting tax for all Glam Bags shipped to subscribers in New York. As you may know, businesses are required by law to collect sales tax in states where they have a physical presence. Because we now have operations in the state of New York (in addition to California and North Carolina), subscribers in this state will be impacted going forward.
Starting with April's billing period, you may notice a small tax appear on your billing statement. Please note that this tax percent depends on the zip code where your bag is being shipped, which is why tax rates vary between customers.
