FYI: NYC Moms with kids born in 2007
The applications for Pre-K for NYC public schools are available. The deadline to apply is April 8th. You can get the application and more info at
NYC DOE Pre-K Application
Don't quote me but I believe Pre-K is universal meaning you can apply to schools outside your zone. It doesn't guarantee you will get a spot since usually preference goes to zoned students but you can still try.

I sent mine in already and am praying big time for a spot! We are moving and I can't afford to keep them where they are!
