FYI: Roosevelt Field Area traffic
Heads up: Really bad accident on old country road and glen cove road. Old country road and surrounding roads closed.

I was thinking the same thing. Fedex told me about this since it comes on their radios and I said any given day its a zoo in that area, imagine how bad it is now!

i live in that area. i want to rip my hair off around christmas time.
It never gets into town but the parking lots are INSANE! I had to go to Petco one day and it took me 45 minutes just to get out of the parking lot and another 15 to get home. I live a mile away

OMG that was a NIGHTMARE and a half today!!!!!!!
I can't tell you how long it took us to get home! We live right off of Old Country Rd. and then after an hour in the car with a screaming baby... we had no lights in the house!
Thanks to the schmo who slammed into that pole!

I wondered what happened. I saw a women arrested...maybe a DWI?
I went into Stop and Shop (I know nothing like last minute) and they had partial power as a result.

We live in Garden City... those string of streets in between the mall and the court houses.

I got stuck in that today. I tried to cut through the Linens & Things parking lot to Glen Cove Road. It took me 1/2 an hour to get home & I live 2 min from Roosevelt Field.
