FYI Terryville Carnival is this weekend (Port Jeff)
It's $15 per person to get in, includes all rides, and kids 4 and under are free. It opens at 6pm. It's on Jayne Blvd. in Port Jeff Sta. (North of 347).

Yes, but since Wed. and Thurs. have passed....
Emma liked it last year, couldn't do *that* much, but she had fun.

I asked b/c the way you said the carnival is this weekend I thought that once again you were telling me about something I didn't know about, as you are my reference point for all things Pt Jefferson!
Do you think it's worth the $30 to take a 19 month old??

Ahh
Hmmm, probably not to be honest. But..I think they have live music also, and a "vegas tent" so it might be worth it if you and DH are into those things also. They have fireworks tomorrow night..but you could probably sit in the TFCU shopping center to see those for free. Which BTW..the other morning I was in that plaza and someone robbed the HSBC bank

I'm close enough that I could probably just go in my backyard and look up to see the fireworks!!
Thanks for the honest opinion about the cost involved. I hate those POP admission charges when all you want to do is walk around and maybe grab some cotton candy.

We watched them from our window on Wednesday!
She would probably like Adventureland. No admission price and you can buy a bracelet or just tickets for each ride.

Really? That's so scary! Of course I had irrational thoughts that the robbers were hiding under my deck after that
