Ganorelix
Hi ladies. My new dr is letting me use ganorelix for my last IUI cycle to allow my follicles to all get a chance to be viable (usually ovulated before some of the follicles were big enough). Does anyone have leftover ganorelix?

I have 3 cetrotides boxes left. From my understanding it's the same thing. Ask your RE if you can use that and it's all yours if you can!

they do the same just in different ways from what I know. I used cetrotide bc ganorelix has latex and I have an allergy. I used both

I wonder if you can interchange them? I have three shots of ganorelix. I will call my RE and ask. Thanks RockabyGirl.

Will you really need more than 3 for an IUI? I used Ganirelix for one IUI but it was only for 1 night. Even with IVF I think I only used 4. You shouldn't use it the whole time, just at the very end if you need to give follies an extra day or so to catch up.

I used 6 for my IVF cycle because I was responding slowly. I'm using it for a few days and I'm worried that I will be slow to respond again and then will be stuck at the last minute without enough. Can't just run to the drug store to pick up more unfortunately. Whatever I don't use, Ill be paying forward through these boards again. It's all such a guessing game but the last thing I want to worry about is being caught short. I'm cycling in June.

I thought the same since I too only needed it for a few days during an IVF cycle, but never know.
