Garden Bugs
I don't know much about gardening so I need some help. DH and I were out looking at our front landscaping when we saw one of the bushes had a bunch of worms on it. The wierd thing was they were almost camouflaged on the branch and then wthey ould all move at the same time. It made the bush look like it was moving. It was very bizzare! They were gray with black heads. Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them?

Re: Garden Bugs
I'm not really sure- however, you can ask at your local garden store. Cut off one of the branches and up it in a baggy. They'll know what it is and you can buy the stuff to treat it. (I did that with on of my bushes.)

Re: Garden Bugs
You can maybe do a search for the bug on an exterminators website. I live in PA, so the exterminator company is not going to be the same...but, you can check out jcehrlich.com and look under their "pest library". You may find the bug...

Re: Garden Bugs
if you live by an ace hardware, they are very good there...last yr, i cut off a piece bagged it and brought it with me there...and they knew what is was (unfortunately nothing could be doen about ours though....they just come sometimes and unless you spray every tree in the neighborhood its a losing battle - but we had green wormy things with webs)

Re: Garden Bugs
Grubs, if that what they were, are terrible for plants and bushes...
Usually they are white to light grey..
You can go to a store and get powder or spray that can get rid of them
