Re: garden city hotel brunch
If it is a special occassion - totally worth it! It is a great brunch! They have so many choices! I wouldnt make a habit of going because it's so expensive, but it's definitely worth it once every year or two!
(My DH and I are big fans of buffet brunch!)

Re: garden city hotel brunch
We went a few months ago. Initially, when we saw all the food we got excited. But it all looked better than it tasted. There were two or three things that were really good, but most of it was disappointing. We agreed that we would not go back.

Re: garden city hotel brunch
We are having my family there to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. The food is wonderful. They have a lot in the way of seafood and specially prepared items. This is not a breakfast brunch with chafing dishes of scrambled eggs. Sure $59 is pricey but the GCH is probably one of the most expensive hotels on the island. You sort of know that going in to it.

Re: garden city hotel brunch
I think it's worth the $59 if you really enjoy seafood - they have a very large selection of seafood and sushi. That's what makes it bigger then other brunches I have been to. I don't so while I am glad I went I can't see paying to go there again.
