Garden city NY -things to do for kids
I have a citizenship interview tomorow morning at GC NY . DH is driving me and since we don't have anyone to watch DD (4YO) she is coming with us. Is there anything to do for kids around there so DH can take her while I'm on the interview? Not sure how long the whole process is going to take and I know DD will drive DH crazy is they have to sit around waiting. The only thing I saw online is the children's museum and of course it's closed tomorrow....

They can "lost" in Roosevelt Field for a few hours. It is near the Immigration building.
The Source Mall is not too far either. There is a carosuel she can ride.

or
Eisenhower Park is not too far... Field 2 is where the big playground is and there is also a sprinkler park there too!
Barnes and Nobles is near there too with a pretty big kids section...they also have right outside B&N a jumping water fountain display - outside a deli and a crepe place with outdoor seating...my kids a fascinated with the jumping water fountains!

Long Island Children's museum is open tomorrow. It is open Mondays starting July 11th. I am a member and got an email about it last week.

oh ok, DH just checked again and it is open tomorrow, thanks so much, didn't see it this morning.
