Re: Gas Fireplace
They are all pretty expensive I hate to tell you. We got ours at this store, but again, they are very expensive.
Taylor's Stove & Leisure Inc (Taylor's Hearth And Leisure) 2245 Jericho Tpke, New Hyde Park, NY 11040 Phone: (516) 877-1960 They have a few other locations, you can call and see.
I do think Lowes or HD sells a few, but I dont know much about those/that. We needed to replace an old one that was here when we moved in and didnt work right.
There is also a fireplace store on Merrick Rd in Westbury, right off of Old Country rd near Baci Cafe. I never went there though.
This is the model we got, made by a company called Mendota.

Re: Gas Fireplace
The old owners of my house had one installed by JetMore, not sure of the price but I love having it!

Re: Gas Fireplace
We have one. Best thing I ever did. It heats my main level and I have high ceilings and a big first floor. That being said, my husband is a plumber and was able to connect it himself. They run about $1,000 plus installation (Which I think you need a plumber). My house looks so cozy in the winter.
