Cool-I just found my great grandparents. They listed my grandma by a version of her name I didn't know she ever used.

Thank you for posting this. I just learned that my grandfather (and his family) took my great-grandmother's maiden name. And that he changed his given/birth name at some point in time before the 1930 census. So many lies in that family. They are all gone but it does not surprise me in the least. What an interesting mystery this is turning into.

I found my grandfather, but it looks like he had a twin brother that nobody ever knew about!

I found my grandmother when she was living with her parents before she got married.
I tried looking for my grandfather but he had come into the country illegally so I'm guessing he didn't fill out the census that year.
Looking forward to the 1940's one too!

I found my great grandparents but their 8 year old daughter (my grandmother) wasn't living with them. I found her at a relatives house in Brooklyn

I found my grandfather before he even married my grandmother.
I always get choked up when I see things about him. He died way too young (when my father was a little boy) and I always think about all that he missed and the hard times my grandmother went through.
