General Hospital- anyone else not happy with it right now? (spoilers)

I know that the writers of OLTL took it over and you can totally tell. I'm not liking all the crazies, the darkness, the split personalities....all at one time.

I'm dealing with the actual OLTL characters...well all except Tea, I find her useless. But I'm just not happy with the storylines.

I'm not happy that Johnny killed Anthony. Johnny was always such an interesting character....he had depth, the kid who grew up in a lifestyle he had no choice, always battled the good and evil.....usually did the right thing when it came to personal issues. But sleeping with Kate/Connie when he knew she was sick in the head, callously shooting out his father's tires and not taking into consideration that someone else could get hurt, shifting the blame for that on poor Kate, betraying Carly......I just don't like the turn it's taken. The writers have now made him completely one dimensional and uninteresting. He's just another evil mobster now....boring.

And Heather, I wanted to like her, but I can't. I'm all for wackadoodles but she's just frustrating. And if Felica sticks around I'm going to scream. I can't stand her voice.

And Sam, yes she was frustrating me running to McBain but to take her baby is unecessary. It's making me sick and it's not fair. They better straighten that out quick...Jason finally came around and I really have a soft spot for them, I know alot of people don't but this isn't the way to tear them apart.

ugh...anyone else annoyed or am I the only one with too much time on my hands to analyze?

I am a long-time viewer of GH and I have found that a lot of what is going on lately to be overwhelming.

There are entirely too many crazy people on the show - Heather (who really just comes back to cause trouble) and Kate/Connie.

I liked Johnny and Carly and was actually rooting for them, but was disappointed when he slept with Kate/Connie and how everything has played out for him so far. He always towed the line between good and evil and somehow with this storyline of his, his actions didn't really make much sense to me.

I do, however, find the whole thing with Luke and Tracy funny - but they always are entertaining.

I'm SO over Sam and Jason and everything about them. I was never a fan and found them to be quite boring. What is up with Sam and McBain? Will they get together? Will they end up being related somehow?

Let's also move the whole Maxie and Matt storyline along already. I feel like it's been dragging entirely too long and noone cares!

Since it's gotten new writers, it's obvious that the focus has shifted but it seems almost completely unfocused in the shift.

I am a little behind, but I totally agree with you abour Felicia's voice! It always bugged me and seems to have gotten mroe shrill.

Tea drives me nuts with her hand on her belly all the time. I know people do that IRL, but I am pretty sure it is just a pregnancy suit & it makes her look like she is afraid it is going to fall off!

I am torn on the Johhny storyline. GH has this problem where no one can ever really be evil. The mobsters are the heroes, Alcazar was evil, but thnthen he wasn't. . .only Franco stayed evil. We never really saw people kill anyone we just hear Sonny & Jason threaten it all the time.

So, I like that they actually picked a direction with someone, but I liked Johnny in particular teetering on the edge of decency too.

I cannot stand these OLTL characters. They like took over!

I like the Kate/Connie s/l but it's starting to get to me.

Never liked Sam/Jason. I always disliked Sam from the second she started on the show. Maybe she'll hook up with McBain and they can ride off into the sunset. And how creepy is it that she almost had a baby with the man who is the father/uncle of her sisters!

God I can't stand it. I was hoping to get to keep one soap for a while but with all the crappy writing this will be cancelled too.

I hate New Kristina! Soo annying and very similar to the naked Heiress character on young and the restless.

I am sorry but just let sam have the baby. It isn't even an interesting storyline to have her lose it now... too much happened with her and the baby already.

I still hate new Maxi and can't get used to her.

I topped watching it a few weeks after Kristen storms left (maxie). I turned it on yesterday and was so confused. First of all who areal tes new people?! Then I think Sam was holding a baby (not alive) and said its not hers?! I probably won't watch it , too many new characters

I hate it now. I am not a regular watcher, but if i am home or whatever, I do always tune in. But lately, when I do, I don't know what the heck is going on and who these characters are anymore. I always used to be able to catch up or figure things out after missing episodes, but not anymore.

I was a huge GH fan, but Im so behind now since I had my son I don't know if I will ever catch up. I have a feeling it will be canceled soon, thats the rumor going around. I miss OLTL so much.

I def cannot stand the story lines these days....I HATE that sam and jason are a mess and that they had to take her baby as if she has not been threw enough in her past with children.

I like the Kate/Connie story but it seems like its getting drawn out to long.

OMG...agreed on all counts. This show is just getting worse and worse.

Kate/Connie- who cares?!?!?!

And what's with the killing of all these little kids? I know it's only 2 but it just seems so over the top.

Star- I fast forward all her scenes and am already cringing at the thought of her singing.

I like Todd though...he's funny and has good delivery.

As for Tea...we get it, you can speak spanish...congrats!

I am LOVING it right now. It's pure soap-y goodness.

I love McBain and I think he and Sam look SO good together!

I am loving how much play Luke, Anna and Tracy have been given! I think Heather is buck nuts.. but it's always good to have a whacko on the loose.. she's way more fun than Lisa was.

The baby switch is a little much.. but I can deal with it because you KNOW Sam is going to get her kid back.. but in the meanwhile it's just really overly dramatic and ridiculous.. just like a soap should be.

My only complaint is that there isn't enough 'love in the afternoon'. I think they need Sam and McBain to move closer to a relationship because I'd LOVE that pair. I'd also like to see Ewen and Liz get back to trying to make a relationship out of their mutual attraction.

I can't believe they are going there again with Sam, losing another baby.

Time to wrap up the Kate/Connie nonsense and give Sonny a storyline agan.

i'm so glad to see this post! i've been watching GH for like a million years and i'm so wishy washy about it right now.

i feel so sad about the sam/tea baby switch and think it's a really dumb storyline. we already watched sam lose a baby and it was awful....why are they having her do the SAME storyline? and i really hope they don't drag it out too long. i love sam and jason together but they are sorta boring as a couple so i do like the dynamic between same and mcbain. not to mention that he's HOT!

the kate/connie thing was interesting when connie was around more. now that kate is usually the active personality, she doesn't thrill me. i find her really whiney.

oh, and speaking of whiney.....felicia's voice is the WORST.....wth!?! she did not sound like that back in the frisco and felicia days so what happened!?!

i also noticed the latina christina which bothered me too but i'm sure we'll get used to her.

i like the crazy people. todd and heather. they are fun to watch.

oh and i loved johnny and carly but i'm so upset he killed anthony. not only was anthony an interesting character, but now it's one more thing for johnny to be tormented by and when it comes out, carly will leave him again.
