generators & putting in gas tanks
My husband and i want to put in a generator to be hooked up to our house to run the house (2400 sq ft). We would need to have gas tanks put in in order to do this.
For those that have done this recently, can you share your prices with me? cost of generator? gas tanks? price to have them put in?

We have a whole house generator that is run off of natural gas... originally it was propane but then it was converted. The price wont be applicable because ours is large (4,000 sq ft). We used Long Island Power and have a generac generator. I would call them for an estimate, they are great.

We used On Site Energy for ours. He's an amazing guy, and just happens to be our neighbor. Our gas tank just sits beside the generator, it isn't buried or anything.
