Genetic Tests...
I got the results of the tests and they came back awesome!!! Here's my question - the tested for Down's and TriSam 18 (or something like that), what is TriSam 18 and what does it test for???

Trisomy 18 is a chromosomal genetic disorder...here is more info. What is Trisomy 18

Down Syndrome is Trisomy 21...most people know what Down Syndrome as it is the most common of the Trisomies..the next two most common are Trisomy 18 and Trisomy 13 or Patau and Edwards Syndrome..These are by far less common and babies are far more adversely effected..Patau and Edwards Syndrome are the other Trisomies that the Ultrascreen are checking for.
