Gerber - BPA- I'm an Idiot
So I was so careful getting DS BPA free bottles....but I am so dumb cause I didn't think about the Gerber food. So last night after watching the news, DH goes and pulls the Gerber containers. They were all number 7's   Even the organic ones. What's the point of organic if you are going to stick the food into containers with BPA? ERRRRRR
So now I am going to return all of them and switch to the glass, Beechnut glass and Eath's Best.
I don't heat the containers. Just aggrevated!

Do you heat them? I think it is only an issue if they are heated in the plastic.
Which I know I never did!

We didn't worry because we don't heat her food in the container so it's not a problem for us.

yeah.... I'm rather concerned that most jarred food is now in BPA plastic.
I wonder if while being packed, the food is heated in the containers (to sterilize prior to capping) 
I will try to make babyfood at home and freeze portions in ice trays....

It's really only an issue if you heat in them...but I think they may add the food hot
