I use the BeechNut rice cereal, since its soy free. Josh has a soy allergy.

I don't think I even see Beechnut at the stores around here.  Just Gerber and that organic brand (I think it's Earth's Best.)

I use both. i started with gerber only to realize that beechnut has more of a variety. gerber doesnt have all the meat varietys like beechnut. I cant imagine that there is anything extraordinarily different other then that.

I agree, plus the Beechnut stage 3s seem to be have fewer additive ingredients....like some of the gerber stage 3s have egg whites which you're not supposed to give until after 12 months?

I only give Earths Best.
Ii tried gerber 1x in a pinch fortwo different kids and for some odd reason they both threw up.
Beechnut..I never considered because when my older kids were little they added sugar to things.

My Josh's favorite and really only meal that he will eat is the stage 2 Chicken and Sweet Potatos...I wish I could give it to him everynight! He hates eating, but gobbles this down.
He does pretty well with the turkey dinner and summer veggies dinner...but nothing like the chicken and sweet pots
