Getting a delivery tomorrow - question

We're getting a piece of furniture delivered tomorrow - how much would you tip?

If it matters, the furniture is made of wood and about 4 or 5 feet wide.

Personally, i'd not tip unless they're coming into your house and putting it together for you.
If its just a delivery and they bring it to your door - then there's no need for a tip.

but i'm sure others think differently

I had living room furniture delivered a few months ago- we tipped the 2 guys $20 each, which I think was a little too much.

I thought they would have trouble getting it up the stairs (outside) and into the house, but DH said it took them all of 5 minutes.

I would say $10 would be enough (for one person)

Ooh good points. Ok so the furniture comes completely assembled, just the legs have to be put on (not sure if the delivery guys do this or we do, lol) and we have an elevator so no stairs. Just one piece of furniture and the delivery cost alone was way over $100 as it is! lol.

DH and I were thinking $20 or so, but since it's just one piece, elevator etc., I guess $10 for each guy is good?
