Getting a puppy! Need a vet- Suffolk

Hi guys!

After many months of persuading and pleading, DH finally caved in and we are getting a puppy! We are picking up our female miniature schnauzer on Saturday from her breeder in PA and I need a GOOD vet recommendation in Suffolk County. I am in the Holtsville/Patchogue/Sayville area.
Anyone have any recommendations, please?

Thanks!
Denise

Oh yay Denise!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you!!!! Chat Icon

I actually go to a vet in Deer Park because she was so good with my old dog I wouldn't take JJ anywhere else. I'm thinking of switching to somewhere closer though in case of emergency Chat Icon

Farmimgville animal hospital is awesome. They are wonderful people and always have time to answer your questions. All the vets are excellent and they don't put muzzles on the dogs. The last vet I went to always put a muzzle on my rottie-mix for no reason. The truly love animals.

I was going to recommend Dr. Grey from there. She is great with animals. DH's family loves her sooooo much. They had her over for Christmas dinner once. Chat Icon

Good Luck!

Thanks for the updates, everyone. We took Hollie to Sayville Hospital for Animals on Sunrise Hwy. The staff and vet were very nice and unless anything changes, we'll keep going there.
