Getting an oil based product stain out of wood---please help.
I bought some potpourri (the one you get in craft stores that comes in the rectangle bag with some drawings on the front and the name of the scent in big letters, with more writing about the benefits of said scent(s)...???)
Anyway. First, I put the unopened bag on my nightstand. Then I opened the package and poured the stuff into little mesh bags for putting around (on dresser, night stand)
Now, there are two big shiny spots on my furniture that WILL NOT COME OUT. I don't know what else to do!
I tried using Murphy's oil, but that did not work.
Anyone have any suggestions? Please?

Try baking soda mixed with some white toothpaste. Scrub it lightly with a toothbrush.
