Getting back on schedule
We got a rescue dog over the summer and it took a while, but we finally got him on a pretty good bathroom schedule. He was sleeping through the night without having to go out and would sleep until I got up for work, about 6:30-7 am. All of a sudden he now gets up every morning at 5:15 to go out. His night time routine hasn't changed, so I don't know why the sudden morning change. It's driving me crazy and I'm so tired lol. Any ideas on how to get him back on schedule?
Thanks!
ETA: He is about 2 yrs old, not a puppy

Re: Getting back on schedule
Same thing in my house - has he been less active outside since its been cold? I've noticed my dog will not sleep as late if she doesn't have a lot of exercise the day before. We tend to go to the park less and she spends less time playing outside lately so she's not content to sleep as long!

I didn't even think of that - definitely makes sense. He's usually so high energy but he's been pretty "lazy" lately. I will try to get him running around a bit more. Thanks
