Getting DD's ears done - ETA Pictures
She is 7 months old and I'm tearing up thinking about the pain :(. Please give me some words of encouragement and some suggestions to get her to stop crying and not hate me right after

have a bottle waiting and give it to her right after. Kaitee was 2 months old and she cried for about 30 seconds and then was fine. She never seemed in pain when I would clean them.

Its not so bad. My DD didnt like it at all. But she was extra cranky that day and right before she scratched her eye and was hysterical even when they were just cleaning her ears and marking where they were putting the holes. She is fine now. Its been two weeks and they dont bother her at all.
I did give her some tylenol right after b/c the dr. said i could. But she was fine. No sign of infection either. She is 4 1/2 months.
Im sure your DD will do just fine. Is the ped. doing it?

Honestly I thought the vaccinations were far worse. Especially the ones in the leg muscle

When I got DD's done(she was 6 months) I took a bottle and gave it to her right after, and she stopped crying right away and fell asleep.

Thanks! We did it! Well my friend actually held her - we got them done at the Broadway Mall and she was HYSTERICAL (the I can't breathe cry) for about 2 minutes and I had a bottle for her and then she got over it. I was surprised. I cried just as much as her though
