Getting Dizzy
Have any 3rd Tri girls been getting dizzy? This is about the second time it's happened to me. I am also seeing kind of blurry (esp looking at the computer screen) - What do you think this could be?

Re: Getting Dizzy
hmm the dizziness could be from the extra blood - does it happen when you get up fast? The blurriness can be be from your blood pressure. You might want to check with your dr just in case.

Re: Getting Dizzy
sounds like your blood pressure may be high, I would call the doctor
The same thing happened to me when I was at work in my 3rd trimester, I started to sweat, get dizzy and lightheaded
I went to the nurse on site and my BP was 158/80....I went to the doctor and when I got there is was 160/80
The doctor had me lay on my left side for 10 minutes and it went back down to normal

Re: Getting Dizzy
That's happened to me a few times.....I just sit down and rest and it goes away in a few minutes. I've found sitting, rather than lying down, works much better!

Re: Getting Dizzy
So weird, I was just dizzy at my desk (and I haven't been standing for a while). Maybe I'm working too hard

Re: Getting Dizzy
blurriness is not good , How has your BP been? Any swelling? I would call the Dr. to be sure.
The dizziness could be anything, a drop in BP, blood sugar and I wouldnt worry about it. I would lay down for a few minutes, have some juice or soda and see if it passes.

Re: Getting Dizzy
It's so weird because I am finding that it's really only when I am sitting at the computer now. I got up before, was doing things around the house and I was fine. When I sit here the screen is blurry and I'm alittle dizzy. My blood pressure has been fine this whole time - I go back to the doctor on Wed. so I'll ask her about it then.
Thanks for your responses!

Re: Getting Dizzy
Keep drinking a ton of water and relax. It sounds like your BP is high.

Re: Getting Dizzy
i get this from time to time and they told me when you lay down or sit down you blood pools and it's very difficult for your heart to get it back up to your brain b/c the baby is in the way - so that's why you get dizzy when sitting - or when getting up
