getting ear pierced
I got DD ear's pierced today. I almost fainted, I was so nervous but it wasn't too bad. Anyway, what did you do for aftercare? Did you use anything like bacitracin?

rubbing alcohol to clean and bacitracin for a couple of days, once redness was gone only cleaned them everyday.
eta: also i spun the post a couple of time sa day

No bacitracin. No rotating for a week, Alcohol only. Those were directions from the pediatrician.

I was instructed to use rubbing alcohol to clean them and turn them twice a day.

My ped doesnt pierce ears so I took her to my jeweler. He told me not to use alcohol but peroxide only if her ear gets red. And he said I can use something like bacitracin the first few days. Now I'm confused, maybe I should call her dr and ask

the place I pierced it gave me an earcare solution theey said to clean the earring twice a day and rotate it throughout the day with clean hands. I cleaned it once and day and rotated it once a day and it healed nicely

same here, but my mom used bacitracin and alcohol when we were young and my piercings were fine.

The only thing I did was take a Q-tip with alcohol on it 3 times a day and clean around the earings, and made sure no one touched them, and washed my hands everytime before I cleaned them.
