Getting Full Fast???

Just wondering if this happens to you guys who are later in your pregnancy....

I am just about 20 weeks and probably bigger then most of you were at 20 weeks since i am carrying twins. However, I am starting to get full from eating about 1/2 about what i use to be able to. Did this happen to a lot of you later in your pregnancy?? I figure your stomach does get crunched up so that might be why, but if it's like this at 20 weeks, I can't imagine what i will be able to eat when i am in my 30s.

I'm 24 weeks with twins and I'm experiencieng the same thing. A couple of bits of something and I'm done. I am starting to worry about giving the babies enough nutrition. I'll ask the doctor about it on Thursday.

Im having the same problem. I used to be an eating machine, and now Im not as hungry as much and fill up a lot quicker. I used to finish the whole plate of food, now it looks like I havent made a dent.

Re: Getting Full Fast???

Yup, totally happened to me at that point. Remember, the baby is getting big really fast at that point and putting pressure on your stomach. It's totally normal. I WISH I still had that problem!Chat Icon

Re: Getting Full Fast???

I'm 35 1/2 weeks and this has been going on for me for a few weeks. I can barely eat even a slice of pizza, small chicken breast or small bowl of cereal without feeling uncomfortably full. Forget having a bowl of soup or even a large beverage. You just have to eat less but more frequently. One baby is squishing my insides, I cant imagine doing it with twins,

Re: Getting Full Fast???

I'm almost 38 weeks and can finally eat a bit more now that the baby has dropped and my stomach isn't quite as smashed. But for a while I could hardly eat anything without feeling like my abdomen was going to explode. I just had to eat little snacks throughout the day......
