Getting older = more Sleep?
DD is almost a year and she has been sleeping more and more lately. Is that normal? Or do you think its the weather?
She goes to bed around730-8. Lately she has been waking up about 12 hours later. (she used to be up at 530-6 like clockwork)
Then she naps around 10 for about an hour or so, and then she naps in the late afternoon for an hour or so.
She never use to nap that long or sleep that long?
Is this normal? I thought they stay up more when they get older and cut out some naps?

Re: Getting older = more Sleep?
I think once they become more mobile, they need more sleep to replenish the energy. DS is 9 months and sleeps 12-13 hours a night and naps in the Am for 1-2 hours and in the PM for about an hour. He's sleeping no later than 7:30pm, sometimes as early at 6:30pm.
