Re: Getting pen out of leather?
i'd go to coach or some other leather store, ask the staff, and get some sort of cleaner there.
i tried the hairspray route on my coach portfoliio after getting blue pen on it. let's just say i wish i hadn't.

Re: Getting pen out of leather?
I used to work at Coach for 8 years...DO NOT PUT ANY ALCOHOL RELATED PRODUCT ON LEATHER...it will stain it worse.
Coach sells a cleaner--and I hate pushing products, but it is really good...I stocked up when I quit! But, you can also use liquid ivory soap and warm water...make a solution and use a soft washcloth to wash the area. Then take a new washcloth with water, and wipe it till there is no more soap. Do not get the bag sopping wet....just enough to do the job. You may get a little water spot around the spot you clean....use some of the Coach lotion...it really helps!!! please dont expect a miracle...the cleaning will lighten the pen mark...but it will still be there....as time goes on, it will get lighter and lighter.
Hope this helps!!!
