Getting ready for baby
What do we need to do to prepare for baby to come home in terms of cleaning clothes/bedding/toys/etc.
Clothes - obviously everything should be washed before putting on baby
Bedding - sheets, swaddlers, blankets I know should be washed - do we need to wash the bumper?
Bottles/pacifiers/plastic toys with no electronic parts - do we just put these in boiling water? is there disinfectant for bigger items?
Soft toys/plush toys - do you need to put these in washer?
what about plush rattles and stuff like that?
I don't want to necessarily go overboard, but what do we NEED to clean before giving to baby?
TIA!!

Re: Getting ready for baby
I'm just washing the clothes, sheets, blankets, and boiling the bottles, pacifiers, etc.
I'm not doing the bumper or the plush toys and stuff.

Re: Getting ready for baby
I was wondering the same thing...
Most of the soft toys/soft rattles said not to wash in the washing machine, but to clean with a damp cloth.
I'm going to wash all clothes and all bedding and all blankets.
What about bibs and burp cloths? Do these need to be washed? They will get dirty so quick anyway...
