Getting ready to crawl?
Emily has started getting up on all fours for a minute or two at a time this week. Before she'd just raise the front of her body and her belly/knees were still on the floor. Now she lifts her belly off of the floor.
Does this mean she's getting ready to crawl?
At what age did all the babies start crawling??

Sounds like it to me!  Christopher started pretty early. He started the day after Christmas, so he was about 5 1/2 months old.

My 1st barely crawled... he decided cruising as much more fun.  #2 just turned 8 months and is perfectly content sitting on his arse.
It sounds like she's thinking of what to do next! Soon she'll start rocking and take off!! Batten down the hatches!!!

DS looked like he was doing a push up right before the "lunging" started.
He would just throw his body across the bed/floor, etc. crawling was close behind

Kevin got on all fours the beginning of his 7th month. He leap frogged for awhile before mastering crawlling. But the beginning of his 8th month he was a full fledged crawller and cruiser. My brother's daughter got on all 4's earlier than Kevin but took awhile before she got crawlling - I think she started towards the end of her 7th month as well but was on all 4's in her 5/6th month.

Logan is almost 8 months and still no crawling.......for the past month he has been on all fours rocking back and forth...he even kind of crawls backwards - that is until he gets to a wall and can't go any further, then he just cries. He recently learned how to sit up from a belly position so now I'm thinking he will never crawl. The second I put him on his belly he sits up .

Claire didnt crawl until 9-10 months. She seemed perfectly happy rolling and squirming all over.
