Getting the germs out of your home.........
Seriously, I'm up to my eyeballs. Every week its been something else. Today I am spending the day disinfecting and cleaning.
What is the best way to go about this?
As a sidenote, my idiot husband had a 101 fever last night and went to work.....stupid.

I don't know but open the windows -- that I read is the number one way to get rid of germs.
ETA - Ale and I are on day 3 of horrible colds -- wanna come by here after?

Re: Getting the germs out of your home.........
I will be opening the windows then - this week alone the kids had a little stomach bug and then Jack now has pinkeye and an ear infection.
Neil has a fever so I'm not sure what his story is b/c he went to work.
So between the windows, washing all the sheets & stuffed animals and cleaning the toys hopefully we'll be good.

Re: Getting the germs out of your home.........
I open every window (even if it's cold), I wash every sheet/towel/blanket.
I get Clorox wipes and wipe down every door knob, light switch, toilet flusher, toothbrush, phone, faucet and railing.
Everything toy that can go in the dishwasher sanitize cycle does.
Every stuffed animal that can be washed on HOT is.
Then I dust and vacuum.

Open windows and clean off things like doorknobs, lightswitches, refrigerator handle, door to microwave, oven handle and knobs on stove. Wash your bedsheets and pillowcases.
Feel better

Re: Getting the germs out of your home.........
I use lysol spray on everything too. I also use it on toys and rinse them... or if they can go in the dishwasher. I wash sheets and things in hot water with a little bleach if we are sick also.
