Getting worried about Irene-- WWYD?

We have a trip planned to Deerfield Beach, Fl- leaving on Thursday. Flying into Ft Lauderdale...I'm so nervous about this storm. We're staying at a hotel ON the beach. Will we know by Thursday if the storm will def hit? Will our flights be canceled? Should we cancel??
I've been waiting for this trip for over a month and I'm so disappointed, but so nervous too! It's just me, my mom, my sis & DD.

What do you think?

I heard on the radio this morning that it's supposed to kind of bypass Florida.
However- I don't know how accurate that is.

I've been watching the NOAA site: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at4+shtml/144553.shtml?5day#contents

As of right now, I don't think it will really bad. I wouldn't go parasailing when you get there, but it looks like it will pass Ft. Lauderdale sometime on Friday, so the rest of the time you should be fine. It also seems to be heading eastward as time goes on. When I check yesterday, it was predicted to hit more of Florida, and make landfall in South Carolina. Now it looks like it will just skim FL and make landfall in NC.

my parents are on a cruise down there right now. I keep calling the cruise line to make sure they are far from the storm. They had to change their route. Hit right where they were headed. These hormones are making me crazy! I keep getting emotional thinking something is going to happen.

That pic made me cry - I'm going to Baltimore this weekend and now it looks like it will hit there.

I hear you - this will be the only trip we have taken in 1.5 years and will be the only trip we take for another probably 2-3 years. We are scheduled to sail out of NJ on Sunday for Bermuda. We are so upset. I'm just praying it passes in time and doesn't ruin our trip. The girls are so excited and DD#2 (2) just potty trained just so she could swim in the pools on the ship. She is so proud of herself.
