getting your lip threaded?
Does anyone get their upper lip threaded?? I am afraid to, but I love how my eyebrows are done so much that I want to try this. I'm afraid if it's not good though it'll grow in thicker??? I've never even waxed my lip. Is this bad to do as a 1st timer?? Please advise! TIA! :) How often do you HAVE to do it?

Is it horrible though to do it once and then what do you do now in lieu of that?? I'm afraid it'll grow back thicker or something....

never had an issue with that- if anything it grows back less
I used to wax now I just use a hair removal cream at home-

OMG, me too. Ouch, I literally had tears in my eyes and wanted her to stop after just one side. I don't think getting my eyebrows threaded hurts at all, but this did!

ITA!!! I had mascara running down my face because of all the tears.

i cant taje my eyebrow but my lip is another story. i have to make the girl stop like 5 times. its horrible i wax and then have her thread whatever little hairs are left

I've done it many times and it hurts but it goes by fast.
I can't keep up with it so now I do what Beth does, I use a cream and find it more convenient.

exactly!
and because I go every 2 wks, its not as bad ( im assuming less hair).
If I wait longer, I do admit, it stings longer.

I just had it done for the first time a few weeks ago. I get my eyebrows done all the time. It didn't hurt any worse than my eyebrows, if anything it was less for me.

OK - thanks for the feedback everyone!
Next question - I want to do something on Tuesday - so I guess I can try waxing first?? Once you do it once, how often can you go in between visits? How much does it cost? I am VERY fair, blond, I've gone my adult life without doing anything, but now I feel like I need to in recent weeks..
