If there is a reason for the test and you are under 35yrs they will cover it but not otherwise. With my last pregnancy I was 33 and at the 12 week scan they found some abnormality with the baby's neck fat and insurance covered it.

OOP for me cost would've been $13k. Mine was covered by insurance b/c I was 35 when I delivered. I wouldn't have chanced having it done if it wasn't covered because that's A LOT of money.

Is there a reason you want to have it?

my doc mentioned it and said to call insurance and ask if it's covered. He said the 2 loses might warrant it being covered. I was curious to see if anyone else in my situation (mid 20s) has tried.

I called and asked, and was told it would be covered, but that my doctor has to call them directly and explain the situation. So i guess it's not 100% confirmed just yet

I'm under 35, and my OB does the panorama and it was covered. I believe many insurance companies recommend these tests to all pregnant women so age shouldn't be a factor.
