Gift Card Question
My Nephew will be traveling to Russia, Rome and Denmark this summer. I want to give him $$$ to take, but not cash. Does anyone know if he would be able to use an Amex or MC/Visa Gift Card, in another country? TIA

When we went to France, we were suprised that we could not use our Amex card over there, so I would not get an Amex gift card.

Maybe a Travelers Card...It's like travelers checks, but in a credit card.
Any bank should have them.
