We are going to a Christening and I want to give the brother of the baby being Christened a little something - any suggestions?

Anything car related. Hot Wheels cars, remote-controlled cars, etc.
DS will be 5 in May, and I've been eying some of the science experiments that the two of us can do together. I already have solar race cars that I want to break out this summer.

A transformer toy. They have smaller one starting at around $7.99 - $9.99 range and it would be easy enough for him to play with on the spot. My 5 1/2 year old would be very happy with that.

I agree, I would bring something that he can play with on the spot. If you are lookign for a small gift, transformers are great, but when looking at the ages range, round down. The ones that say 5 and up are so complicated. Ryan loves them, but I want to throw them out the window because he cant always put them together myself and I cant do it at all.
Also there are tons of spiderman action figures that are fun, teenage mutant ninja turtles too.
But the car that you gave Ryan was THE COOLEST toy he got. I would get another one like that if you can (with batteries so he can play with it). Well, maybe not if the christening is in someplace fancy.
