Gift for first birthday
I need to buy a first birthday gift for twin girls. I want to do something special (maybe personalized?) without spending a fortune. Any ideas? TIA

It's not personalized, but I got a friend's son a Radio Flyer wagon.....we put a big stuffed animal in it and wheeled it to the party.
It was a big hit.

Maybe a cute personalized piggy bank (can find some inexpensive ones online)for each of them, and maybe tuck some $ into the card to put into the banks after they open it, like a little kick start. Then, you could always get them each a small toy if you want something they'd be able to play with, or a bigger toy to share.

The girls just got their ears pierced. How about a pair of earrings with their birthstone (aquamarine)?? Or do you think everyone will be doing that?

My mom was always notorious for giving the Precious Moments train pieces that coordinating with whichever birthday was being celebrated...
It's cute... they clasp together to make a train.
